Lake Seloton
Lake Seloton is one of the 3 lakes in Lake Sebu municipality of South Cotabato. What used to be a 75 hectare area lake has shrunk drastically to 50 hectares due to siltation. T’boli legend has it that Lake Seloton was once the deepest of the three lakes in Lake Sebu. Somido the giant once waded on the three lakes. He waded on Lake Lahit, the other lake, but the water reached up only to his knees, whereas on Lake Seloton, the water reached up to his chest. Photo shot at Sunrise Lake Resort.

What A great shot. I missed that heart shape mountain when I was still there. But I am just wondering about the legend “Somido the Giant” I never heard of that legend. I dont know maybe I just did not read the Legend of Lake Sebu faithfully. As far as I know, Somido is A famiy name of a rich fisherman in lake seloton specifically in Lam-Alo. It just bother me about that legend that I never heard before. Well hehe. Very nice photo though It makes me remember of this place when Im still growing up. Lots of precious memories.
