A burial practice traditionally done by the poeple of Sagada for 2000 years. The coffins are carved by the elderly before they die. In order to fit the remains some bones have to be broken. Sagada people prefer to be buried by the cliffs than underground. Advance happy Halloween everyone!

The Feast of San Clemente also known as the Higantes (Giants) Festival is celebrated every 22nd to 23rd of November at the province of Angono in Rizal. On these days, colorful paper mache giants spanning 10 to 12 feet tall, joyously roam the streets of Angono in honor to the patron saint of the fishermen, San Clemente.
